Blessing Stone Or Shell Toss
The ritual of the Blessing Stones or shells is a wonderful way to include everyone in the wedding by way of offering blessings and good wishes to the newlyweds.
At the end of the ceremony the bride and groom along with their guest walk down to the ocean shore, each guest receives a blessing stone/shell, and as they toss the stones or shells in the ocean, they each makes a silent wish or prayer for the couple.
The Minister, friend or family member leads the blessing stone/shell toss immediately following the ceremony by announcing it and giving each guest a stone with instructions.
